Wednesday 22 February, Dom Rivard carried out a semi-official record of the world of distance covered in kitesurf. Started from the lagoon of Saint-François in Guadeloupe, it slipped full south on its board until Saint-Lucie by leaving Martinique on starboard. It thus covered not less than 159 miles at a mean velocity of almost 16 nodes

étienne Lhote now in guadeloupe !
For those which did not intend yet to speak about him, it is classified 3rd with the championship of the world 2005 (PKRA). Turkoise Kite 's Cool organized a Kite demonstration in Gosier, where étienne lhote occurred in company of 3 local riders and one Breton. Since, the weather conditions being exceptional, he decided to remain and doesn't leave the Guadeloupe. To add to the strong and regular wind , to the waves, a Kicker was even installed on spot of Bois-Jolan where 4 or 5 riders have fun, including étienne.
